Creighton’s Ronnie Harrell announces transfer to Denver; junior is excited to be returning home

Junior Ronnie Harrell announced that he is leaving the Creighton men’s basketball team as a grad transfer in a tweet on Wednesday night.

The forward played in 30 games as a junior, starting 14, and averaged 7.0 points per game, 6.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game, while shooting 46.6 percent from the field.

“Ronnie’s just playing really, really good basketball,” McDermott said in Janurary. “He’s not a starter, but he’s certainly our sixth starter because he’s doing some really good things for us.”
